Setting its place in the middle of D’Mall Boracay, Lemoni Cafe’s refreshing and vibrant interiors are a breathe of fresh air from the rather crowded establishments around. The ambiance of the place is just a small part of the picture because the bigger part can be found in the fresh, eclectic and healthy gourmet cuisine, refreshing beverages and supreme desserts that they serve.
Because Lemoni Cafe is committed to serving food that makes one feel good and happy, we didn’t miss the chance to try their relaxing, zesty, and healthy menu. Lemoni Cafe is known around the area for its breakfast pieces and a wide variety of sandwiches, all served on their homemade bread, big salads, soups, pasta, risotto, and, of course, fresh seafood.
Lemoni Cafe is also famous for its beverage selection that is styled to complement and refresh guests. The treat for us started with the famous Mint Pineapple Crush and the Ginger Watermelon Shake. These two shakes are unconventional versions of the fruit shakes you’re used to tasting. For one, the Mint Pineapple Crush has that amazing balance of taste from the mint and the pineapple. No element is overpowering than the other, so it is very refreshing.
Meanwhile, the Ginger Watermelon Shake is another unique drink. The combination of the ginger with the watermelon is surprisingly perfect. The ginger doesn’t overpower the watermelon’s taste. It’s like tasting the typical watermelon shake with a kick or an interesting aftertaste. This, too, is very refreshing and definitely worth trying!
Of course, the salad, the sandwich, and the soup should be given their well-deserved attention; thus, we sampled the Salad with Pumpkin Soup and Club Sandwich. This is a nice combination of Lemoni Cafe’s three most popular delights on the menu. The pumpkin soup was a favorite because it was tasty and fresh. This doesn’t taste like a vegetable at all. It is a bit salty and a bit sweet at the same time. The green salads are amazingly fresh and crunchy. The club sandwich doesn’t bloat too much because it is also loaded with fresh veggies and chicken.
The star of the day for us would be the French Toast. This is not the typical French toast because it has healthy companions: mango, banana, and yogurt panna cotta. Whether you choose to pair your French toast with maple syrup in banana or mango (or both), it would be a perfect combination. Lemoni Cafe has made it possible to enjoy breakfast like you have never enjoyed it before.
Dining at Lemoni Cafe would not be complete without the desserts. Two of the top-selling desserts are the Mango Madness and the Hazelnut Chocolate Mousse. Anyone who is into mango floats would surely love Lemoni Cafe’s Mango Madness. The cream and the mango complements each other in such a way that the mango is very sweet while the the cream is not too sweet. Meanwhile, the melt-in-your-mouth goodness of the Hazelnut Chocolate Mousse will surely leave anyone at the edge. It is very chocolate-y and every bite is irresistibly good.
