Bringing Back The Classics at ASYA

With fusion cuisine restaurants springing here and there, it’s hard to tell which restaurant serves authentic Filipino dishes.

So where do you find one? Just go to Quezon Avenue’s Eton Centris Walk and look for the facade that looks like this:

Found it? Great! Now, prepare your taste buds and your tummy because you’re gonna have a full day 😉

Why you should go here: With two other restaurants (Zuni and Duo) under his name, Asya owner Kevin Prasad has already proven himself in the food industry. The Prasad Group will always take your breath away when they start serving their specialties. Come to Asya to find relaxation. Eat quietly with friends, or family.. or even alone. The place may look a bit intimidating but hey, their prices are very affordable!

What to order: The accommodating staff can suggest their best sellers (..and if you’re lucky enough, Kevin Prasad can do it for you. He’s very hands-on with his restaurants) But if you seem to be too shy to ask, consider our suggestions.

Skip the appetizers and indulge in the grilled goodness of the Sinugba Platter. This mix of catfish, giant stuffed squid, pork belly, and chicken, accompanied by burong bagoong, eggplant and mustard, will surely leave your jaws dropping. It isn’t hard to love this one heck of a classic. And by the way, don’t forget to pair it with Seafood Aligue Rice.

Or choose to order the Kalderetang Kambing. We’re pretty sure that with its rich and slightly sweet flavor, you will be tricked into thinking that you’re actually eating beef instead of goat meat. Succulent, indeed!

At Asya, something unique is always possible. For the traditional tinapa, it’s reinvented into the Crispy Lumpiang Tinapa. Bits of smoked fish, generously stuffed with vegetables makes every bite extraordinarily good!

Sizzling Crispy Pork Sisig, anyone? We’re sure you can’t resist this pulutan. Grab a few cold beers and just savor the crispiness, spiciness, and perfection of Asya’s pride.
